Terms of Use

Last updated 13 August 2026

These terms govern your use of yilamed.com. Our products are supplied under a separate written agreement; nothing on this website replaces it, varies it, or adds to it.

1. Who you are dealing with

YiLa Technology Pte Ltd, a private company limited by shares incorporated in Singapore. YilaMed is the platform; YilaCMS, YilaCare and the clinical AI agent are its products. You can reach us at info@yilamed.com.

2. These terms, and your acceptance of them

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

We may revise them. The date at the top of the page is the date of the version you are reading, and that version governs your use of the site today. Continuing to use the site after a revision is acceptance of the revised terms.

3. What this website is

Information about what we build. It is not an offer capable of acceptance, not a quotation, and not a commitment to deliver any particular feature on any particular date.

Where a page marks something as roadmap, planned, or in progress, that is exactly what it means: it is not shipped, and you should not contract on the strength of it. If a capability matters to your decision, ask us to confirm its status in writing and we will give you a straight answer, including when the answer is not yet.

4. The clinical content here is illustrative, and is not medical advice

Several pages show a worked consultation: a patient case, tongue and pulse findings, a pattern, and a formula with named materials and doses. The case is fabricated. The output is published to demonstrate the structure of a record and how different classical schools read the same presentation.

None of it is a prescription. None of it is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. It is not tailored to anyone, it has not been reviewed for any individual, and it must not be used to treat a person.

This matters most where a formula contains materials that carry real risk. Prepared aconite, for one, requires pre-decoction and appropriate supervision; the page states that, but stating it does not make the formula safe to copy. Herbal medicine is dispensed on the judgement of a registered practitioner who has examined the patient, and reading a website is not a substitute for that. If you are unwell, see a practitioner. In an emergency, call 995.

5. What our products do, and what they do not

Our AI drafts. It transcribes a consultation, structures it into a record, and offers a reading and a formula for the practitioner to consider.

It does not diagnose, prescribe or dispense, and it is not a medical device. Every clinical output is a draft until a registered practitioner reviews it, edits what needs editing, and confirms it. That boundary is deliberate, it is enforced in the product, and it does not move. Clinical responsibility for any decision rests with the practitioner and the clinic.

6. Acceptable use

You may read this site, cite it, and link to it. You may not use it unlawfully; attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or to any system connected with it; probe, scan or test its security; introduce malicious code; scrape or harvest it in a way that burdens the service; or use it to send unsolicited commercial messages.

We may restrict or withdraw access where use breaches these terms or threatens the availability of the site for others.

7. Intellectual property

The text, design, illustrations, footage and code of this site belong to YiLa Technology Pte Ltd or are used under licence, and are protected by copyright. You may read, cite and link to them. You may not copy the site wholesale, present it as your own, or reuse its assets in another product without our written permission. YilaMed, YilaCMS and YilaCare are our marks.

Classical Chinese medical texts quoted on this site are in the public domain and we claim nothing over them. Our arrangement, translation and commentary are ours.

8. Links and separate services

This site links out to services with their own terms: the trial at agent.yilamed.com, the clinic and platform logins, the YilaCare site, and — where online booking is enabled — a third-party scheduling provider. Following a link takes you out of these terms and into theirs.

We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.

9. Availability, and no warranty

The website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We try to keep it accurate and online, but we do not warrant that it will be either at any given moment, that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any defect will be corrected. We may change or withdraw any part of it without notice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, conditions and terms implied by statute or common law in relation to this website.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss or corruption of data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website — and specifically not for any clinical decision taken on the strength of the illustrative content described above.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total liability arising out of or in connection with this website is limited to one hundred Singapore dollars (S$100).

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Your rights under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act 2003 and the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977, where they apply to you, are unaffected.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms, your unlawful use of the site, or your infringement of the rights of another person through your use of it.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what this site does with personal data and forms part of these terms. Please read it.

13. No third-party rights

A person who is not a party to these terms has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 to enforce any of them.

14. General

If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest continues in force and the provision is treated as modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.

A failure or delay in enforcing any provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these terms; we may assign ours to a successor to our business. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us in relation to this website.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them — including non-contractual ones — are governed by the laws of Singapore. The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction.
